When customers Jo and Catherine visited our Brighton and Hove showroom, they were about to embark on a whole home transformation. Kitchen designer Mark worked with them to carefully craft a kitchen that complements the cool contemporary feel of their newly-renovated home.

The finished kitchen pulls from Nordic kitchen design, combining soft neutral cabinetry with woodgrain accents. They chose to work with our German kitchen manufacturer Nolte, opting for painted FEEL doors in Sahara and a MANHATTAN accent door in Volcanic Oak. Nolte’s true handleless closures in their new Manganese Bronze finish bring additional warmth to the space with inbuilt lighting that brightens the room at the touch of a button.
Jo and Catherine decided on Nolte’s unique MatrixArt 900mm cabinets on a low plinth, maximising storage space without compromising on the height of their worktops. They chose to provide their own mineral quartz worktops, chosen to complement the soft Sahara cabinetry.
Jo and Catherine chose Bosch appliances throughout the kitchen, including a venting hob in their kitchen island. This draws cooking vapours down and away from the chef rather than up and over as a traditional extraction hood would do. These appliances fit neatly into the space, drawing minimal attention away from the woodgrain accents across the kitchen.
The combined effect is a space that feels sleek and sophisticated.
