My brief for this kitchen is to give a feeling of light and space in an otherwise darker area of the house. Colour choice that still creates some contrast and interest is important, as are some classic styling features like the french matle and glass-fronted wall cabinets. The need for the client to have a space that is both practical and social has been clear from the beginning.
