Renovating your kitchen is a great opportunity to breathe new life into your home. Peter and Kate, based in Ferring, worked with The Kitchen Store team in Brighton and Hove to transform their kitchen, taking inspiration from the sea just a few metres down the road.
Gorgeous Kitchen Designs in West Sussex
Peter and Kate chose cabinetry from our British kitchen manufacturer, Masterclass. The woodgrain texture on the Oxwich cabinets in Coastal Mist blue compliments the Portland Oak cabinet internals and accents throughout the space. Peter and Kate provided their own square bar handles in stainless steel, complimenting the cool tones of the kitchen. A full-width shelf in Portland Oak across the central wall of the kitchen creates a focal point, drawing the eye up to the vaulted ceiling above.
This kitchen is packed with storage space, including a built-in larder pantry with sensor-activated LED lighting. The wide drawers along the central wall maximise every square centimetre of space for Peter, Kate and their family. Peter and Kate chose Neff appliances for their new kitchen. This included a venting hob, eliminating the need for an overbearing traditional hood extractor in this kitchen.
The soft blue cabinets are complimented by matt soft grey Cimstone mineral/quartz work surfaces in Concrete Terreno. These durable and beautiful surfaces are perfect for the rush of a busy household. Matching upstands and a windowsill behind the sink tie the kitchen together as one cohesive space. The sink is completed with an integrated draining board and a Quooker boiling water tap.
This lovely kitchen is simple but effective, sticking to a clean colour palette with beautiful results.
