When Michelle approached The Kitchen Store, she was looking for a new kitchen to complement an orangery extension recently added to the back of her house. Working with Cat, Store Manager and Kitchen Designer at our Horsham store, Michelle chose a range of subtle colours and finishes to transform her kitchen into the perfect focal point for her home.

Gorgeous Kitchen Designs in West sussex

The colours of our Masterclass cabinets were a big inspiration for Michelle. She opted for a combination of traditional and handleless cabinets in soft, nature-inspired colours. The majority of the kitchen is fitted with H-Line handleless Sutton cabinets in gorgeous New Forest green. Hampton feature cabinets in Wisteria provide a soft contrast. At the back of the kitchen a Hathaway double pantry is both a talking point and excellent storage, allowing Michelle to maximise space with these extra-tall units. A glass feature cabinet provides further space for displaying Michelle’s favourite kitchenware.

To complement the soft green cabinets, Michelle chose Calacatta Oro work surfaces with brass veining. Brass fixtures on the Hampton cabinets, sink and lighting tie the room together into one striking scheme. The Wisteria cabinets are paired with Solid Oak work surfaces. Cat designed these cabinets with pilasters and no plinths to give the appearance of free-standing pieces of furniture. Oak floating shelves above the work surfaces add to the warm and inviting feel of the space.

Professional Kitchen Design and Installation in West Sussex: Customer Testimonial

Michelle’s kitchen is now a subtle and welcoming space. We are so pleased with how the kitchen came together, and were thrilled to receive this lovely review from Michelle:

I can’t recommend the team at the Kitchen Store enough - I’m delighted with my new kitchen and the Kitchen Store team made what is a big job which can be stressful, so much easier.

From initial consultations with Cat, we worked together to bring my ideas to life with Cat helping me see what would or wouldn’t work but all the time appreciating I also wanted something a little different that reflected my style.

Once the build started I was lucky to have Dave as my kitchen fitter. His attention to detail and truly wanting to get it perfect for me was so much appreciated. Having someone in your home everyday for a month can be a lot but Dave made it easy and I can’t thank him enough.

On the last day I couldn’t believe the kitchen was mine it was so lovely. The quality of the units and worktops are excellent and I know will last and look great for a long time. I also needed new flooring, plastering, lighting and plumbing and the team co-ordinated everything for me to make things as easy as possible. Thank you to all the team for helping bring my dream kitchen to life - I love it!
